Quid tibi nomen Latinum?
What is your Latin name? This week the scholars chose their own Latin names to be used during class. See if you can guess your child's name from the picture below. They enjoyed playing Chutes and Ladders while practicing a new Latin question and their numbers. Their speaking homework this weekend is to read through all their Latin notes out loud at least three times.
Ask your child about the math activities Which One Doesn't Belong and What's My Number. We use these and other games to get their math brains thinking and to have conversations about math. They brought home a Sprint sheet, which reviews information already learned so that we can spiral with math concepts and not just move on.
Please make sure your child is working on his or her book report. The projects are due for presentation on September 24th.
