Zoo Field Trip!
Hi 3rd Grade Families!
We had an exciting and busy week! It began with our field trip to the Zoo on Monday. Unfortunately, the weather was not the best for a day at the zoo, but we were still able to see some animals and observe how they live. It was extremely insightful for students to be able to witness the animals we have been studying about in real life! The students practiced grit, fortitude, and temperance as we endured the rain and cold. I'm so proud of them for displaying positive attitudes and making the best out of the situation! Students presented their final book reports this week and each one was truly incredible! They have taken feedback from throughout the year and worked on those skills in order to become successful presenters. I love seeing their projects that they create. Finally, we were able to raise almost $22 as a class for the charis pregnancy center! We are still taking donations if students want to continue to bring in change.
