Week of Oct. 20

Hi 3rd Grade Families!

What a joy it was to see these students recite their All Things Bright and Beautiful poem at the assembly on Wednesday! We worked hard on some presentation strategies in order to prepare for it. Not only are recitations a wonderful way for students to develop their memorization skills, it also helps them learn how to speak in front of others and effectively communicate their message.

They had to use these same skills during the Hall of Heroes event on Thursday. It takes a lot of courage to walk up to someone and engage them in conversation, but these students did an incredible job! I hope you enjoyed hearing your child explain their historical hero to you.
