Multiplication and division!
Hi 3rd Grade Families!
This weeks' topic in math was multiplication and division. To help students understand the concept, they worked with straws and dice to divide a total into different groups. They also learned how division and multiplication relate to each other. One of the ways that we are learning our math facts is through song! It's pretty incredible what happens when you put information to music. How many of you hear a song from your past and can instantly recall all of the lyrics? I still remember the skip counting songs I learned as a child! Not only does it benefit our learning, but it also makes it more fun. Music is such a gift from God! Be sure to ask your child to sing you the skip counting song that is set to the tune of Jingle Bells.
