Hi 3rd Grade Families!
Happy September! Even though this was a shorter week, we still had a lot going on. Students recited their verse and poem for the month of August, and we started on our new recitations for September. Ozymandias is a challenging piece, but we have been discussing doing hard things to the best of our ability. So far the students are doing well learning the poem and its meaning! Mrs. Nelson came to teach our students a dance to our new school spirit song. Students did a great job following her directions and learning the steps. Our math lessons focused on rounding numbers to the nearest ten, hundred, and thousand. I hope your child enjoyed our first dollar day!
Reminder: Please make sure your child has chosen a book to read for their first book report! A list of books can be found on the parent portal. Reports are due 9/25.
