Cuneiforms and book reports!
Hi 3rd Grade Families!
I hope you were able to join us at our assembly on Wednesday. It was so much fun watching the students showcase what we are learning here at school, especially our new school spirit song!
Today was our first book report day of the school year. The students shared how they were feeling nervous about it, but we were able to discuss facing our fears and doing something well, even when we don't want to. They all did an incredible job!
In math this week, we focused on using bar models to represent math problems. We also learned about the Tower of Babel and the beginning of Abraham's story. I think the highlight of the week was making cuneiform tablets using cookie dough!
