Dr. Marvin
A Full Week of Activities
After the excitement of last week’s Science Fair, students and teachers alike took a well-earned deep breath. This week, we jumped back into Earth Science and Physics through engaging experiments and hands-on exploration.
Earth Science scholars analyzed erosional glacial landforms using topographic maps of Glacier National Park and Anchorage, Alaska, and investigated glacier deposits found in New York and Maine. In Physics, students explored standing waves, observing both constructive and destructive interference. They also built simple harmonicas to experiment with natural frequency and pitch, bringing sound waves to life in a fun and memorable way.
