Week of Sept. 1

Week 3 was filled with new Latin phrases to ask someone their name and how they are feeling. In our Bible class, we have been learning about the time of Judges. Our reading took us through most of the story of Gideon and how he defeated the Midianites in a most unusual way. To help us experience the Middle Ages in a little bit deeper way we made a form of mead, a common drink from that time period. The consensus was...it's too sweet!

Keep encouraging your students to read their book report book. Book reports are due on Thursday, September 25 (the students have already written this in their homework planners).
