Week of Sept. 16th

Hello 3rd Grade Families!

I hope your child had another great week at school! Some of this week's highlights include singing the Preamble to the Constitution for Constitution Day, learning about marsupials, exploring life in ancient Mesopotamia and Sumer, and reciting our "All Things Bright and Beautiful" poem for our visitors during open house. 

Next week is a busy one for our grade! Book reports are due on Tuesday, 9/24. Be sure your child is ready to present their report to the class. On Wednesday, 9/25 we will be going on our first field trip of the year to the Natural History Museum! 

In the pictures you will see students designing, creating, and using their cylinder seals, just like the ancient Mesopotamians did!
