Week of Sept. 2nd

Hello Telos Families!

Our year has gotten off to a great start! These first couple of weeks have been full of reading, understanding place value, rounding numbers, and lots of team building activities! I have been impressed with how inquisitive each student is. They have asked me some hard questions. When I didn’t know the answer, we got to look it up together! I know their curiosity will help them gain more and more knowledge and understanding. Way to go 3rd graders! In the pictures you will see a marshmallow building challenge, a paper chain challenge, creating and using a number line, and a lesson on prudence where students learned the value of making plans before building with magnetiles (Luke 14:28-32).
