Week of Sept. 9th

This week in math we have been reviewing how to solve single variable equations and exploring how to solve multi-variable equations. Students have been very pleased with themselves for being able to explain how we use the distributive property, inverse operations, and isolation of the variable to solve both calculations and more challenging real-world problems.

The Conceptual Physics class has taken a deep dive into Newton’s 1st law, including discussing the difference between mass and weight and how both apply to inertia and friction, whether that is the motion of a car on a highway or the motion of a shark hurtling through the water!
