Dr. Goers
Exciting week!
This week in Humanities we began the study of the early Sumarians along with the first written and recorded documents. Scholars started their timelines and spent the week learning exactly what it was like to be an anthropologist. Each scholar was presented with a bag of items and had to "create" the person that owned those items. Must like an anthropologist, they knew SOME information but had to fill in all the details. It was a fun and creative assignment, as well as proving enlightening! As we continue to build literacy we share scholarly sentences each week. Our photo this week is just that!Â
Also, as a bonus, our new Executive Assistant, Mr. Oliver Wasden began working this week. We grabbed this shot of him with Mr. Heise. Notice how they match!Â
