Mrs. Sytsma
6th grade traditions
A distinctive aspect of Christian classical education is the joy of learning. This joy comes from the wonder of discovery, the confidence that comes from mastery, the depth of learning, and also, very importantly, through times of fellowship and celebration that become cherished traditions in the life of a school. This week the 6th grade enjoyed a lovely Valentine's Day breakfast (thank you Mrs. Barth!) with words of appreciation from their classmates. We capped off the week with a Nerf-gun trench battle to celebrate the completion of our World War I studies.
I am so proud of all these students and their growth this year. I hope all of you are refreshed by your week off!
