Another fantastic week!
It's been another fantastic week in 6th grade!
In literature, we've discussed what a worldview is, and ways in which strong rhetoric skills produce strong leaders. Considering the events of this week, it is vital that our students understand that their education is not just a matter of information transfer, but a deeply formative process that shapes our attitudes and actions. We want our students to have the tools to engage in discourse with all people in a way that honors the God-given dignity of every human, while still holding fast to the truth of God's Word.
In a less philosophical vein, students applied their math knowledge of factors and prime numbers in the Beat the Tax Collector Challenge.
We will conclude our NWEA benchmark testing on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend!
