Celebrating Great Books!
We had our first round of book reports this month and we are off to a fantastic start. Students did an excellent job of recapping their books and as you can see, there was a beautiful variety of creative projects.
Sixth grade had some great opportunities to talk about planning our time when a big project is ahead of us. One of the beauties of classical Christian education is that it seeks to train the whole person in habits that will long outlast a student's school days. At Telos, we are able to frame time management as one of the ways we keep our word and honor the Lord through our work, while maintaining a spirit of grace that acknowledges we are all a work in progress.
Our next public presentation will be the Hall of Heroes on October 23, but it's not too soon to start the next book. Our next book reports will be presented on November 19.
