Week of Aug. 25

We had a wonderful week in math as we started our pre-algebra curriculum. We are beginning with solving linear equations where we focus on using the inverse operation to isolate the variable. While students were initially intimidated, we ended the week strong with much confidence and success.  Students are learning to keep themselves organized, using their graph paper notebooks. Next week, we will take our math minds to the rock climbing gym for a little real world application.
