Mrs. Zuperku
Perfect square day!
This week our class was able to celebrate perfect square day on September 16. If you don't know why that is perfect square day, be sure to ask your child to explain it to you! We had square snacks and played games to celebrate the day.
In the classroom, we finished our chapter on solving equations. Students were particularly challenged when we began solving equations that only had letters and no numbers! We have been talking about having an attitude that embraces challenge and hard problems. Those challenges will make us mentally strong and better mathematicians. Next week, we will test our first unit and then move on to inequalities
