Amie Olson

A Bit About Me

First Grade Teacher

Amie was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where she spent much of her youth playing basketball, helping at camps, and working with kids in the local parks and recreation program. She always enjoyed mentoring children and was torn between studying early childhood education and computer graphic design. Ultimately, she chose the design route, earning her BFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. Amie went on to work in the design industry for over 20 years, specializing in the functional health field, where she discovered a passion for helping others improve their health through nutrition. Her love of learning led her to earn certifications from both the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN).

Becoming a mother was Amie’s lifelong dream, and she is now the proud mom of three adventurous boys. Following the loss of her mother, Amie and her family moved to Park City, Utah, seeking to embrace more adventure and create meaningful memories with their children while they are still young. She spent three years homeschooling her boys, deepening her love for teaching, and fostering curiosity and growth in children.

Amie is passionate about inspiring young minds and helping them develop confidence, creativity, and a love of learning. She is excited to bring her nurturing spirit, creativity, and dedication to Telos Classical Academy, where she hopes to make a lasting impact on her students.
