Corey Gant was born and raised in South Carolina. In order to pursue vocational ministry, he attended Charleston Southern University and later the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he focused his studies on Biblical Theology and Church history. He has a passion for teaching the Bible and showing how it points to Christ. He is also passionate about literature and stories because they are powerful reflections of the ultimate storyteller, God himself.
He met his wife, Grace, in undergrad, and they have been married for three and a half years. She is a model of Godly love and wisdom, and they share the joy of many great jokes and good books. They both love telling others about the sweetness of the gospel, and they are excited about how the Lord will use them in the beautiful state of Utah.
Corey is excited to join the Telos team and help these young scholars see the joy of a life in pursuit of the true, good, and beautiful while being rooted in God's word. If you want to get him talking, just ask him about C. S. Lewis or the ways that Christ is foreshadowed in the Old Testament!
