Week of March 23

Mr. Heise

End of quarter!

We headed down to Price, Utah on Friday for the 3D archery tournament—a good change of pace and for the archery students to show their skill! The competition was strong but I was impressed by how Telos rose to the challenge and shot some impressive scores.

We’re wrapping up the academic quarter, which always brings a mix of fatigue and momentum. We’ve had some sickness moving through the group, but the students have pushed through with real resilience and I'm looking forward to having everyone back in class to finish the year strong in our last academic quarter of 2026.

The warm weather is bringing out some noticeable giddiness in the students as they look towards spring and summer. To honor these high spirits, we walked to the gas station for ice cream at the end of Latin class—doing our recitations on the walk—a fitting way to wrap up this unseasonably warm and summery academic quarter!
