Happy February!
We accomplished so many amazing things this week! Students have been working hard on cursive, we finished reading Misty of Chincoteague, and we took a deep dive into the life of oceanographer Jacques Cousteau. He led such an impressive and interesting life! One of the lessons we learned from him was his determination to keep going, even when life was hard. He didn't let anything hold him back from doing what he loved. Be sure to ask your child what important inventions he made!
This upcoming week, we have the Spelling Bee on Monday and our Valentine's Party on Thursday! Please bring in a small cardboard box or bag for your student to decorate at school for the Valentine exchange.
