Overwhelming generosity!
Hi First Grade Families!
I am blown away by the generosity that has been displayed by these students the last two weeks! We have far surpassed our goal for collecting money for the Charis Pregnancy Center. I have loved watching their excitement as they brought in money to add to our baby bottle. These kids also worked SO HARD on their NWEA tests this week. They gave it their best and never once complained. I'm excited for you all to see their results.
We have one more first thing on Monday, so be sure your child gets a good night of rest and eats a good breakfast Monday morning. Our last activity for Ancient Greek history was painting jars in the Black Figure style that the Greek's added to their clay pots. We learned all about the process that they used to create this type of art. I hope students have enjoyed walking through this period of history together.
