First week in Upper School Science!
We had a very successful first week of upper school science. Both our Earth Science and Conceptual Physics classes started with an introduction of how our classes are structured and what to expect. We role-played greeting guests when they enter our classroom, and practiced classroom courtesies. We quickly moved into What is Science? and demonstrated how to formulate a scientific hypothesis, carry out experiments, and analyze our results using Oreos! The Oreo lab is the first of many hands-on activities your students will experience in science at Telos. I am excited for this school year, and it has been great getting to know each student's personality this first week.
