Tremendous Timeline Reports and April Fool's Fun
The 4th grade students did AMAZING jobs on their Timeline reports! I was so impressed with the depth of research and creativity that they all demonstrated. I learned things from listening to their reports! Hopefully, they enjoyed the opportunity to dive deep into a subject of their own choosing and interest. That is what makes learning stick.
I had a little fun with them on April Fool's Day. Instead of our normal schedule on the board, I wrote ridiculous assignments such as "Read the entire dictionary" for Spelling and "Run a marathon" for Outdoor Ed. I'm not sure the students knew quite what to make of it! :)
