Week of April 27

Mrs. Olson

Time, please slow down! What a week!

We keep saying it in class, time, please slow down! We’ve been talking about how summer is just around the corner, and honestly, we’re not ready. We are truly enjoying our time together and soaking in these last weeks as a class.

It was a wonderful week in first grade! Our class did an amazing job performing Spring Prayer at the assembly, such a proud moment. We also had several students recognized for Service, and it was so special to celebrate their kindness.

In the classroom, we began learning our colors in Latin, and we will continue practicing in the weeks ahead. A big thank you to the three 5th graders who came in to teach us. They did great!

One of my favorite moments this week was an impromptu lesson on Corduroy led by Blaire and Winston. I love those unexpected moments when students step in to share, and I can simply sit back and watch them learn from one another.

So much joy and growth from this special group of first graders!
